I took a very cold trip to NYC years ago with an ex girlfriend around valentine’s day.

The snow shoveled to the sides of the street I think masked the smell of garbage and piss.

Does all the rain tend to to wash away the piss smell in Seattle?

In my experience no, but the smell of weed tends to overpower everything else

A week or so ago I spent around 5 minutes looking at group tours in mountainous regions of Canada and I think I want to go to there.

I know you aren't going to Scotland, but please have a pint of Tenet's for me while you are in the UK.

After doing Italy/Greece in 2024 and Spain/Portugal in 2025 I'm bummed we have nothing on the horizon for 2026.

But then I thought about it and we have a trip down south for a long weekend coming up, a long weekend trip to Melbourne for footy at the end of May and a trip to Broome for a wedding in July. And I'm trying to convince the wife to hire a caravan for a month mid September to mid October and just fuck offski for a while.

I need trips to look forward to. Europe is great but my own backyard will do just fine.

Side note - my brother tried to get me to visit the US for an NBA trip early next year. I have no intention of going to the US at this point, none. But man do I want to see some NBA games in person. Fucking Biden.

We're selling/buying a house and this is my wife's first full year with her own company/non-profit, so nothing really on the calendar for us this year either, although I'd love to get out of the country at some point towards the end of the year. I do have another rafting trip with my cousin for this Memorial Day weekend though, so that is something to look forward to.
