It was super cheap so I went for it. But I agree it is a bit random especially when the Born in the USA songs come on and the sound changes completely.

I have a soft spot for it from back in the late 80s when I used to listen to the set of 3 tapes (!) that I had and loved.

Lucked out this weekend with 3 mispriced albums. Two new albums that were both accidentally marked with stickers $10 cheaper than they should have been (spot checked online, plus they had other copies in store with the correct pricing)

And just scored a perfect condition used 2001 Parlophone edition of RH Amnesiac for $15. They obviously assumed it was the Capitol Records repress (or just didn't know).

What were the two new albums.

I just ordered the first two Counting Crows albums being reissued next month and Heritage by Opeth.

The best mis-priced LP I ever bought was the ORS version of Neil Young's "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere." It was marked "Used" but was still in the original shrinkwrap with the hype sticker and everything. There's a chance it had been returned to the store unopened, but still, it was marked at like $9.99 when new copies were still going for around $30.

i know the what the audiophiles will say: but is this a complete waste, or a good option if you don't want to have to buy all the equipment?
