Finally got back outside today. The weather has been abnormally bad for late November.

This is true, however, I wish my excuse was that good. Hitting an exercise bike just to do something a few times a week.

I don't look down on anyone for not running when it's cold out.

If it drops below 50 here, I'm looking at the treadmill.

I can still run in the 20's if the wind is reasonably calm. It's just been really sloppy outside on top of it all.

yeah, I have been slacking on Strava especially because I was doing this routine of 5 minutes on the treadmill then 5 minutes on a bike. It's too much work to get it all sorted out on Strava.

Strava says I have 1468 miles this year. My Google doc says I passed 1500 this morning. Will I spend a significant amount of time this afternoon auditing the last 12 months of running? You bet I will.

Have you cold weather guys ever run in a balaclava?

I may do a short trip to my bro's place in Ireland in January and I'm thinking about buying one.

I haven't. I feel like it would only help for the first few miles, then you would warm up and be annoyed with it.

I have a cheap Under Armour one that I wear when it's below zero. I don't mind it.

You guys are fucking slacking, I shouldn't be at the top of the leaderboard with just 18 miles.

I prefer a neckwarmer and a toque combo when it get's that cold. Slap on some goggles if it's really snowing. But you're just a straight up girl so i would look into buy and insulted bubble to run in.

Without looking at my watch, my last 3 runs were 7:48, 49, and 50 avg pace. The consistency surprises me. Especially today because I mixed in a few strides at about 6:15/mile.

Garmin says I hit 4:51 pace and held it for 8 seconds today. Come at me.
