Finished the movie. More or less without any disturbances in the second half. Still I enjoyed the first half better. A bit too hopeless in the second half.
12 movies left for 2008 now: Burn After Reading, The Wrestler, The Reader, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Taken, Slumdog Millionaire, Rocknrolla, Mamma Mia!, Gran Torino, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Seven Pounds and The Changeling.

I'm gonna see Nope again this weekend because my friend wants to see it, but also because I really wanted to like it and couldn't believe how dull and uninteresting I found it. Maybe I'll pick up on something the second time around

The Wrester is one of the best movies of the decade, and Burn After Reading seems increasingly prescient with each year that passes. I would recommend not posting on RM during these two.Anders wrote:Finished the movie. More or less without any disturbances in the second half. Still I enjoyed the first half better. Re: What movies are you watching?
I’ve seen both of those before. The Wrestler is great. Big Coen fan, and I enjoyed Burn After Reading as well (probably 2008-09 when I saw it last).Mickey wrote:The Wrester is one of the best movies of the decade, and Burn After Reading seems increasingly prescient with each year that passes. Re: What movies are you watching?
is that a typical pizza order, or was it carefully crafted for this particular feature film?Anders wrote:Cheese, tomato sauce, ground beef, pepperoni, olives and pineapple.dad wrote:what toppings are on the pizza?Anders wrote:I’ll have another slice now. Re: What movies are you watching?
I think that is a bit judgemental, I don't agree that my moviewatching experience is busy and unfocused. You make a positive sound very negative.Jorge wrote:I see you like your pizzas how you like your moviewatching experiences: busy and unfocusedAnders wrote:Cheese, tomato sauce, ground beef, pepperoni, olives and pineapple.dad wrote:what toppings are on the pizza?Anders wrote:I’ll have another slice now. As for the pizza, I love those toppings, especially pineapple.
