But then I thought about it and we have a trip down south for a long weekend coming up, a long weekend trip to Melbourne for footy at the end of May and a trip to Broome for a wedding in July. And I'm trying to convince the wife to hire a caravan for a month mid September to mid October and just fuck offski for a while.

I need trips to look forward to. Europe is great but my own backyard will do just fine.

Side note - my brother tried to get me to visit the US for an NBA trip early next year. I have no intention of going to the US at this point, none. But man do I want to see some NBA games in person. Fucking Biden.
It’s not really different. Just avoid a home Wolves game.

PM me the dates. Maybe I'll fly up and work from my stepson's apartment that week.

got back yday

one of the best beach trips i've ever had

would def go back

went fishing one day and caught an African Pompano, brought it back to the resto on the dock, and they cooked it up right there, some parts fried and some parts grilled... was delicious

i enjoyed the local beer. caybrew

sea water was clear, perfect temp... little fish and coral right there off the beach...

much needed escape from the arctic winter

was super exciting

pretty tough battle

wasnt sure what it was on the line, as it finally got close the boat thought it might be a mahi mahi

then pulled it out and was like bro

colors were amazing. blue lips. all sorts of shimmering colors

also caught a barracuda. like 2-3 footer

didnt eat it bc they have high mercury

he was an angry little guy

That sounds incredible. Cudas are so metal. Love those guys. But not swimming near them. 99% of the time they're chill but they will fuck a human up every once in a while.

yeah the watersports rental guys near my hotel caught a big one and said it had been getting close to where snorkelers are

they said if you leave it lying around and ants try to eat it, the meat is safe

but if ants don’t go for it, it’s too poisoned

i personally would not risk it either way

but they planned to do it
