It’s been a great tourney.

England has had the best path thus far. How is it that they’ve had so many “home” games?

Picking an Italy/England final. I picked Italy to win it all during the group stage, but if this is the final, you have to give the home team a massive advantage.

italy got completely dominated in the first half. dominated after their first goal. had the wind knocked out of them after they gave up the tying goal. played on its heels all throughout extra time. and then took advantage of some bad penalty kicks. congrats.

I think I'm pulling for Italy because of how lame that was. Harry Kane should be ashamed that he missed the pk that shouldn't have even been awarded but is instead a hero. It's the uncoolest victory ever.

I'm pulling for Italy because England is a gross nation filled with gremlins and bog people and it would be so fucking funny to watch them eat shit in their first final in 50 years.

Deserved win overall. Denmark just didn't have anything left in the tank. The pen was probably a dive, but England should have had one earlier, so it balances out.

denmark scoring on themselves and the terrible, terrible penalty call notwithstanding, england thoroughly outplayed denmark from about the 37 minute mark on. denmark played completely back on their heels and invited england to attack in the first half of extra time, and they paid for it.

I will say, in my experience, every fan of England is completely insufferable. A win and they act like Red Sox fans after the 2004 playoffs. A loss and they act like Cubs fans after the 2003 playoffs. There’s never an in between.

I watched the itv stream and it was amazing, the announcers were borderline sobbing and saying things like "remember this moment, because it will live in the history books forever." Real loser shit to say after winning a semifinal game.
