8 Players with an elite OPS (over 1.000)
Cash:
PA:7th
R:7th
H:6th
RBI:7th
SO:4th fewest
2b:5th
TB:7th
SB:tied for 3rd (with zero)
HR:8th

If I set a minimum (of 186 ABs, which is 3.1 times 60 games, which is I think the MLB qualifier)(or of 200 PA's, say, an arbitrary number) eliminating Votto from qualifying, Cash looks even worse on these lists.
A barely-better-than-part-time-player does not an MOP make.

There's a reason why there's a qualifying list- and he had more extra base hits than many of the guys you listed. But hey, if your a stats accumulator kinda guy, then an efficient hitter like Norm Cash just isn't your bag.

Out of curiousity, why did you Mantle above O'Neill?

It's a shameful homer vote. (as in home team not home run) He was the deciding hand in what seemed like 10 or 15 games for me. O'Neill is the best objective choice (probably).

This answer is 100% acceptable.

After tallying up the seven ballots so far, it looks like the two winners are going to be pretty clear-cut. Some tight competition among the runners-up (err, runner-ups?). We've got five ballots still out, and out of those five I expect we'll get at least three of them turned in on time (me, numbers, and Kaius...TBAMTS and Ruddo are the other two).

My All-RM teams are in no way definitive, so if your level of boredom (or procrastination) reaches mine, feel free to post yours.
