Drinking some local goodness tonight. Ladies and gentlemen may I present Beaver Duck!

Love the logo; the beer is yum, just enough citrusy flavour, not at all overpowering. This one took gold at the Ontario Brewing Awards in the APA category.

Bump. I've never seen this thread below the top 3 in F&D and it was weird to me.

I had a Redhook ESB this evening.

So....why is Beer Camp nearly 30 bucks for a 12 pack? I'm sure it's pretty good but that stuff languishes on the shelves. I guess the idea is that it's limited... but They need to re think that.

Yeah, for some unproven brews 25-30 a 12 pack is out of line.

I've been enjoying the Ballast Point Pineapple IPA. Just enough pineapple and hops to be refreshing on a hot day.

I'm not huge on fruity beers but the Harpoon Wannamango is pretty damned good.

This is always a favorite when I'm kickin' it in Ruddo's backyard.

Much better than getting your kayak stuck in pluff mud, which also happened to me on that trip.

Yeah that is pretty good, but a lot of their other offerings I'm not a fan of.

Also, pluff mud is nasty to get stuck in.

I am dubious of honey in beers.

Oh, I think it can be done very well. Hopslam for instance. I think bells has another one Roundhouse I think I'd like to try too.

I've never tried it in a pilsner though

I don't mind if it is there I guess, I just don't want it to stand out.

Give this one a try, then, if you can get it. It was pretty subtle.

I can see that. Honey can have an extremely distinctive taste.
