I still haven't seen it. But man I sure wanted to when it came out. I was so excited for it. Then it left theaters and I haven't sought the thing out. But it looks outstanding. If it's half as good as Passion it's still a GREAT film.
It is 10 times better than that turd Passion.
The Passion is one of the greatest movies ever made! EVER!

The sad thing is that I actually DID like a couple of things about it. Other than him killing people, I thought Batman was spot-on. Wonder Woman was damn near perfect and the effects for her Golden Lasso was deadeye-dick perfect. The incoherent story and the unrecognizable character that is Superman totally ruins any of the good in it, tho.

Why do you think Supes was unrecognizable? Interesting. I love Snyder´s take on supes..its giving him a complex morality that was actually there in supes comic books in the 90s.

Fuck the 90s. It was there in the golden age too. Superman killed some folks back in the early comics. Not frequently, but it did happen. It wasn't until the silver age that Superman became the boy scout we've grown accustomed to.

Superman would never just stand there and let a piss bomb kill innocent people in a courtroom.

Superheroes aren't supposed to act like we would or like real people would. They're supposed to be better than we are. Only that doesn't really happen in Snyder's universe. ( Except maybe Wonder Woman). The heroes in this universe don't really care at all.

That is objectively false. And he didn't "let" those people die; he didn't know about the bomb. What do you expect him to do?

Is there a huge difference between the short and long versions? Cause while this isn't a perfect movie, the long version is far from bad.

And I had some issues with the depiction of Batman, but this version of Superman is pretty great IMO. The montage in the middle where he's saving people is just beautiful.
