Why are so many of these people convinced that Jesus/God is so invested with the US?

The place wasn't even a consideration throughout the Bible. And if people were the concern then surely really large population centres like China and India would be of far more likely interest to him/her/it.

I saw this as well. Although, she only controls Metro PD. Congress controls Capitol Hill PD.
