I definitely felt that way in the third period in game 4 right up until Pittsburgh got that third goal...from 10:00 on at least (maybe even earlier) I just sat there thinking "Pittsburgh has no interest in trying to get another goal, they just want to sit on this and win." San Jose was just so offensively inept (or unlucky or both) they could never tie it, and as soon as Pittsburgh got their one chance, they buried it to put the game away.

In the past, I've always expected that each of these teams will always eventually choke. But the biggest reason for that with Pittsburgh was Fleury, and obviously that's not an issue this year. So I still fully expect San Jose to go down in flames tonight. The speed and skating difference in this series reminds me of Boston getting bounced by Montreal a couple of years ago...San Jose seems to have no answer for it (aside from hoping Jones saves them when needed)

I don't know much about the market, but it's not a bad gamble (heh) to take for the NHL, as far as I'm concerned. They'll be the first major professional league to try it.

It'll be really stupid if they only add one team, though, which seems to be the case.

lots of people live there and they already "sold" season tickets to dip the toe on interest. There used to be a minor league team there called the Wranglers, but they folded because the owners tried to make the ice rink on like the roof of a casino as a gimmick that fell through and so did their lease. Plus, they'll be able to fill seats with giveaways from casinos
