bad cop hater sure. but while there are a majority of cops who do a commendable job there are still a percentage out there that use the position to lord their power over people especially those who are a minority. they do really shitty things like shoot them when they are unarmed. frame them to say the were in fear of their life. look on as they kneel on their necks or choke them out. or use tear gas to disperse a protesting crowd yet do nothing when armed white nationalists storm a capital building cause they cant eat at applebees or get a fucking haircut.

there are so many cases where cops abuse their power and it is all being documented yet youre still willing to turn a blind eye (especially if they shot you in the face with a rubber bullet) that there isnt some need for reform

again its not for all cops or precincts but there is a need none the less

Have you seen this video? This guy is pretty smart.

But it's not just bad apples, it's bad policies. Stop and frisk is a policy. No-knock warrants is a policy. Allowing cops to use force based on a gut feeling is a policy.

OK, so what are the forces at play behind the policies? Why are they there? Who's to blame? How does it change?

I'm sorry but "the stats simply don't show me that police killing black people is a problem in this country" is incredibly stupid or disingenuous so those are the only two conclusions I can come up with.
