Actually, I think Star Wars is pretty comparable to a multi-season serialized TV show.

I read that as previous Jedi who have gone through The Path and into hiding. They left their light sabers and robes behind. I don't know if any of them belong to "known" cannon Jedi or not. But clearly they were previously owned by Jedi Knights.

I had to go back and read a few previous posts to understand what the hell was going on here!

Now I'm with it.

Doesn’t make any sense though. Inquisitor knows you’re force capable. Lightsaber is your only way outta that situation.

Why give it away?

They are going into hiding. They don't want to be identified as Jedi. Easiest way to get found is by swinging a lightsaber.

also seems, as long as you don't use the force, you don't set off any force sensitive alarms. like kenobi for ten years.

If only everyone of you were so cool with Luke ‘turning off’ the force when force awakens came out.

Anyways

Almost like a thing they do to protect themselves from being found

Mad isn’t it?

I was fine with that. I'm fine with OB1 struggling with his connection as well.

Dime you are the one that was arguing that the inquisitor can sense the force therefore they should have kept their light sabers. Are you now saying they can hide the force? I’m confused

That's a fun theory given how much of Part IV of Kenobi was references to Episode IV: A New Hope.

And I wonder what that means for the final two episodes.
Could be this one.
That could totally be it, yeah.

I think it's a really promising theory
Couldn’t find a comment from him on episode five about this theory.

They could stick the landing, but this show's starting to feel like a big missed opportunity to me.

Starting to agree. I think there was probably too much Vader. If the inquisitors are doing the work for him, make it all about them and just give him a cameo.
