You mentioned "left wing media" and "herd mentality" earlier, but you've posted like 3 Dave Rubin videos in the last hour - a guy who celebrates the IDW, which seems to exists these days as a support group for people "victimized" by the "herd mentality" of the "liberal media." Kind of amazing that no one in the IDW realizes their own group-think. Too busy "educating" those pesky left-wingers, I guess.

The funny thing about what people call the IDW is its members range from Ben Shapiro to Sam Harris and everything in between but the one thing they have in common is they are willing to talk to each other and have a friendly, open debate on any issue, especially the ones with which they strongly disagree. This is the one characteristic I share with "IDW".

They drone on and on about how awful it is to have a "victim hood mentality" despite victim hood being what brought them together in the first place.

I don't pay attention to all of them. I'm a pretty huge Sam Harris fan and have watched a few discussions with some of the others. Sam is the only one I listen to regularly. He hardly ever brings up these kinds of toxic politics anymore and when he does it's pretty boring.

On the topic of religion, Sam hasn't changed a bit. See, this is the problem with this perception that just because two people talk to one another, they are birds of a feather on EVERY ISSUE. Because Sam interviews Douglas Murray, he's perceived as a Douglas Murray fan or some shit. Ridiculous. And yeah, it's boring to hear this stuff and to talk about it, but it's really impossible to avoid it when you're being attacked.
