This looks so unbelievably hokey and twee. I can barely get through the original short, I can't imagine watching 90 minutes of this.
Nevertheless it was a fun rainy day activity with my wife and 3-year old.
Take it to the "Again, dada, again!" thread.

Marcell the Shell is a deliberate send-up of the sentimental suburban indie movie, I wanna see it

If you didn't see the twist the first time, it was a good twist. You can't retroactively decide it was bad, trag!

The Last Duel. Good, but gets to be a bit labored before the duel (which was great).

Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon, the new movie from the great Ana Lily Amirpour. It's a lot of fun. This movie is very happy to be a movie, if you know what I mean. It feels like the movie is excited that it gets to be a movie so it's going to take advantage of every second it can. I know that sounds silly. I liked it a lot, it's a good time

Like, the movie woke up one morning and realized it was a movie so it decided to go crazy and enjoy being a movie while it still could. It always wanted to be a movie and now it finally was and it wasn't going to waste any of that blessing.

Between movies being excited to be movies and cameras loving some actresses more than others... y'all have lost your damn minds.
