maybe its a california thing..i remember being miffed that the portland oregon Tj didn't sell liquor

Doug many states can't sell liquor in any grocery store as it is regulated by the state. I think California is one of the few exceptions

i like pacific northwest stores...i usually start in the canned fish/seafood isle...like looking for brands I've never seen or tried before

Big ice storm coming Friday and Saturday and we want to avoid the stores tomorrow, so we went to Trader Joe’s to increase our snack supply. Not only did they have chili onion crunch, but i found some kalua pork spring rolls

I had a chance to visit a Whole Foods 365 today. Basically a pantry version of a Whole Foods. Felt a little like a Trader Joe's with mostly packaged food and a small produce section. Not really my thing unless it's Aldi, who justifies their existence through great prices. Easy to get in and out, but I went in for hot food which they don't do very well there.
