I’ll keep everyone updated if I find more nu metal albums being sold for a $1 at the dollar store down the street.

That Chevelle album slaps. Though it’s got 90’s Steve Albini production, so it’s a unique nu metal experience.

Since tomorrow is a holiday, I’m gonna leave these matchups open a little while longer and just do two rotations this week instead of three.

pretty sure Ruddo didn't spend the early aughts vanquishing terrorists so that free Americans would have to wait an extra day to vote on nu-metal, LV

That was...not terrible? Though I think once was enough.

I've just discovered Deftones play a pretty great, though very faithful, cover of I Only Tonight We Could Sleep:

(Can Robert please get this guy to play drums in the Cure?)

Yeah Deftones are always on point with their covers.

They do a cool version of Say It Ain’t So by Weezer too, though I don’t think there’s a studio version.

Was Fred Durst vs Scott Stapp the only feud of this pivotal era?

Eminem and Fred Durst had a beef. I think there was a Chino / Jon Davis one too but that was squashed by their Family Values tour together in 2006.
