i know people like to shit on marvel movies for being formulatic etc but the way bettany and olsen bounce between their scenes with their reactions and emotions imo deserve emmy nominations. just phenomenal

I guess I’m just trained to wait for the big joyous wow. I felt this series a slog. The ending especially. That all has to / had to die and she flies off for further adventures. A sacrifice and an ending would have made it real.

I do agree that the hardest thing about the Marvel films is that there ultimately aren't any real stakes. The final episode of this was my least favorite for just that reason. But it was still a really great, interesting journey. I got a lot out of it, especially when the show focused on being a meditation on loss and grief. It did that stuff really well. And the leads were fantastic.

I agree. Wanda was the villian for most of the season, and she paid no price. They'll never know what you sacrificed for them? I think they will. They sacrificed their lives and identities so Wanda could play house. She should have at least apologized.
