"Masters of the Air review – Spielberg and Hanks’s Band of Brothers follow-up is absolutely classic TV

With a sublime, star-studded cast and the backing of Hollywood royalty, this extravagant, thrilling series is finally here – and it’s worth the wait"

It won’t be soon, but it’s supposed to be coming.

The writer’s strike really took the air out of things. I do hope they get it back soon. It was one of the best shows at the time.

I’ve heard some rumblings about behind-the-scenes drama even before the strikes, there were script re-writes, budget concerns. Fall 2024 I bet.

A good friend of mine works on the show. And while they never said anything about "drama" behind the scenes, they did talk a lot about Ben's perfectionism and his super long, drawn-out process. This was never going to be a quick out, even before the strike.

Almost all principle filming was finished prior to the strike, however.

Nice! Super excited. I definitely plan to do a rewatch of season 1 before the new one comes out.

I'm a liar.

I talked to my friend about this yesterday. They were only half way through filming when the strike happened. And apparently Patricia has lost a lot of weight. So they're trying to figure that out.
