So now it’s back to the drawing board as my mower is probably another week or two from being fixed.
I may just see if I can borrow a neighbor’s mower, pay them for gas, and do it myself. That’d be less work than trying to find someone who will do it again.
Here me out Spike: You could just let it grow a little extra long this week
“Here” me out? And you want to write for SNL?

Well I got a refund for the shit lawn mowing, including the bullshit long grass fee he tacked on afterwards. I should’ve never gone through an app based company, the model is obviously flawed where these self employed landscapers can manipulate the system.
Current plan is to let it go, as he did mow down the thickest parts. Mower is supposed to be ready end of week…

It’d already been several weeks, and lots of it is thick. It’d be an absolute nightmare if I let it go too long.
By "in the shop" I assume it's a rider, how many acres?
I'm trying to get at least once a week in this summer, with all the rain it has definitely been necessary.
Yeah it’s a small rider, 30 inch deck. I don’t think I even have an acre to mow, but I do like to get it done weekly.

A squirrel somehow got itself stuck in our bird feeder and we didn’t notice until it was too late. That was fun shaking a dead squirrel out of it first thing this morning

wow. that's a first i have heard but makes sense and prb happens more often than we'd think
i am down to like 1 novelty squirrel that scurries along my fence, a far cry from the seemingly endless stream of 20-30 that used to run roughshod over everything
a couple seasons of trapping and relocation, and one neighbor finally clearing out a load of shit zone in the back of his yard (where they were likely nesting) likely to thank for it
walnut droppings will soon be upon us in full force, however
but i am optimistic squirrel levels will remain sane
we shall see

I feel like a Karen filing a complaint with the BBB, but I’m desperate with my under warranty mower still being in the shop with no solid eta on parts. I’m tired of asking my neighbor if I can borrow his.

Good guy. Hasn’t had a drink since surviving the widowmaker a decade ago.
