I've had 10C seats for four of my seven PJ shows. Only once was I pissed at someone around me. And they admitted to me that someone else had gotten them the seats. They weren't actually 10C people. Every other time, folks have been pretty cool.

I went ahead and put it for seats and GA for the show I want to go to. I'll be happy with either, I think. I'll make the most of whatever. I really just want to be in the space, hear the band, drink a beer and have a good time.

I bet strat still finds a way to 3 shows, followed immediately by posts gushing about how he's fallen back in love with the band.

I think Pearl Jam could be found to have kidnapped the members of Creed and kept them in a dungeon for 10 years and you'd still figure out a way to spin it.

I'd actually wager 5-1 on this happening. (Will pay 5-1 if it DOESN'T happen). The falling in love part, not the 3 shows.

As a favor to music fans?

people should actually bitch about real things. If pj got rid of priority seating for fan club members that would be a huge deal. Seniority gets you the best seats available as a favor to long standing members. It still does. But a fan club is not some feudal aristocracy whose primary purpose is maximizing the privelage of senior members over everyone else. If the ga seats were open to a general audience that would be much lamer. But it just for 10c members.

Dude, that super sucks.

I was in the fan club from 1994 to 1995. Just one year. Then I let it lapse until 2000. I've been consistent since then, but my number dropped significantly in those five years.

No, instead this fan club has made a point to minimize the privileges of senior members and even things out for all involved so that everyone gets a fair shake -- we simply disagree about that strategy. I call that a real thing.

So if they play 5 shows in your city you should get front row for all 5 just on the basis that you've been in a club longer?

You must renew now or you will lose your seniority in the Ten Club!
