I'm coming down. I'll just be looking at my phone a lot more during the show.

It'll only be between songs. Don't worry.

Anybody got any hotel recommendations? I checked out the Hampton Inn B linked to earlier in the thread and they're all booked up now.

Anybody had any luck with Priceline?

I got a decent price on Hotwire. It isn't directly downtown as I didn't want to pay 200 bucks a night but the hotel is only about 4 miles from the arena.

I just found out I have an extra reserved seat for this show in Section 101. It's a print at home ticket that I can email to you, or we can meet at the venue and walk in together if you're leery of buying ticketfast tickets. $80 if we meet in person. $85 if we do Paypal.

This is gonna be a top notch show fellas. 2nd to last show from the 1st leg so they'll go all out. For those that are going we should meet up! Plenty of awesome spots near the venue.

Voodoo Fest in New Orleans is the last show of this leg, isn't it?

Technically yes, but if they are gonna do something at all different for the last show of the leg then you would think it wouldn't be at a festival.

Bingo Bango. EV has noted in the past that the 2nd to last show is when they go all out. NOLA will likely be a typical festival set. After Music Midtown disaster last year, I'll avoid PJ performances at festivals.

disaster? I might be convinced to claim that Music Midtown wasn't my favorite setlist, but disaster?

Yeah, it was a decent show. I thought the band played pretty tight that night.

They were tight but the setlist was a no surprise affair. Too by the books. I figured they would bust out some nuggets but nope. They recorded Backspacer there and had BOB in the house. It was my 30th show and it easily was my least favorite gig. My faith in the band was renewed when I saw EV solo a few months thereafter.
