My girlfriend woke me up because I was straight-up monologuing in my sleep. I was dreaming I was doing some sort of presentation about the most important songs of the 90s, and I was going on and on about "Rattled by the Rush" and "Big Poppa"

I like those songs OK, I'm not sure why dream-me was so enamored with them. Dream logic I guess

When I was in bands in high school I wrote a song that I was convinced was a clear sign that I was a genius and meant to be a songwriter. Then I was watching Beavis and Butthead reruns and realized I had just rewritten Rattled by the Rush

I was walking and saw this strange creature that looked like a cross between a capybara mixed with a flying squirrel, about the size of a large dog. It got spooked and started very slowly flying by rapidly flapping its skin flaps, like a humming bird. There is no way this thing could fly in real life, but didn't have any trouble here. For some reason, I wasn't super shocked by this, but I still tried to get a picture with my phone. But then I got distracted by a dog that looked like my old dog and had to stop and give him some scratches behind the ears.

I had two separate and distinct dreams about vampires last night. I’ve not watched nor read anything containing them lately. Don’t know why they popped up twice in the same night.

Dreamed I was talking to washing machine on the phone about East of Eden and the completed Steinbeck jigsaw puzzle he sent me

I moved into a house with 4 other guys and 5 girls, one of which was Olivia Wilde. But then I got drafted to fight in the Korean War.

Upon further recollection, I think the pants shitting happened after I got home, still puking but in the toilet ironically.

During various oddball tasks, I would time shift and start over or start another. Can't recall too many of the tasks now, but the last start point was on a snowy back road. Act two starts in Texas. Found a roach waiting for a bus or something. Guy wanted some, but I was afraid he was a narc. Started walking away with a large crowd, rolled it between finger and thumb to empty the contents but then gave it to him. He took a hit and then, bam, he time shifted and started over. Great callback by my sleeping brain.

at first i read that as a roach (bug)

At a bar/concert. Went down stairs, guy working security told me I could really throw and catch (wtf?). Huge penny (lp sized) added to other huge pennies/coins in a holding bin - I think this was the admission fee. Needed to piss, walked into a dark dungeon looking place with various concrete walled off rooms to piss/shit in, floor was concrete walkways with flowing wastewater between. Ran into a group with a person puking. Realized I only had one shoe and shoeless foot had an open wound. Tried desperately to keep said foot out of harm/waste's way. The end.
