I don't see that at all. The best parts of this are very expressive and emotional. felt like Nolan finally loosening up

For me this is very much all of Nolan's worst habits/qualities without any of the redeemers.
I've never thought of Nolan as a cold director, or emotionless, or a robot, or any of those things he gets pinged for. In the past I've defended him and argued the opposite. But I see what everyone means here.

Yeah agree
Even in the trial scenes, there is so much emotion there it was surprising.

Not at all
The framing, the acting. Even in the little details in how brutal the interrogation was.
Maybe you didn’t see it because you saw a cropped version.

I'm sure there is a new Marvel show on Disney you can watch instead.

I really hate the association Barbie and Oppenheimer have with each other because of release date, but more so because of stupid social media. And it has caused everyone, including grown-ass adults I know, to say shit like "oh Barbie is a better move than Oppenheimer" or "Oppenheimer is a real movie, not a kids' toy movie!". So fucking dumb. You are allowed to like both or hate both. But you can't like one and hate the other.

I think that for the the most part, the "rivalry" between the two has been very friendly and mutually beneficial. It could have easily become some kind of boys vs girls thing or something, but I haven't seen any of that. Except from Epilogue of course. I kid I kid.

Based Ruddo, as always. People are stupid. Social media is making people stupider. Fuck all of you. The end.

It's all tribe mentality. I have no tribe. Barbie is the best movie ever and it also is the worst thing ever, and it is also OK and I don't care about it at all. Let's just talk. That's why we're here.

But what i'm saying is that I haven't seen any tribe mentality with this. Ruddo is wrong. His personal experience is invalid. He's likely lying to us.
