Also when he smiles, you can see the Arnold in him.Simple Torture wrote:I didn’t realize who Schwarzenegger was until I looked at the cast list, but then there’s that scene where he’s in the pool and you can only see the top half of his face and for some reason just that part looks just like Arnold.
Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

this series is masterful at sucking me in first ep. just enough low key character development, and how they all may or may not interact with each other.
then there's the setting and how the amazing cinematography treats it.
underwhelmed, please.
agreed. Spike is the man. I love the shot of the guy in the pool checking out ladies like a shark. They're hinting at a lot, letting you get to know the place and setting things up without giving anything away. Great episode.spike wrote:you guys are nuts.tragabigzanda wrote:I agree it was underwhelming.
