Welcome to Chicago. What are doing during your layover?dad wrote:I drank entirely too much water with my airport mimosas. I peed before our flight left, which was scheduled for a little over 90 minutes to Chicago. However…thee was a lot of turbulence, and with 35m until arrival I was dying. They wouldn’t let us leave our seats because of the turbulence, and once we landed and taxied, I bolted for the restroom in the back of the plane. There was no way I was making it to the gate. I would’ve burst.
We’re staying in a lounge for our long layover. Gonna kick my feet up, read a little, maybe close my eyes, get a drink, and make as many trips to the bathroom as possible.spike wrote:Welcome to Chicago. Ah, hope it’s nice. There are a couple SA lounges at ORD, and one is nicer than the other. Hoping we can camp out at the nice one in a couple weeks, as we’re going to try and go standby on an earlier flight to SFO en route to Australia. Got word they shut down a runway there for repairs and it’s increasing flight delays. Don’t wanna miss the long flight over the Pacific and get stuck in cattle class for the next one.dad wrote:American Airline admirals club. So far so good. The complementary food and drink, along with comfy seating and available charge ports are helping.spike wrote:Ah, hope it’s nice. I mean, anything’s better than sitting at the gate amidst the unwashed masses. Baller move, dad.dad wrote:So far so good. great to hear! stay hydrated, my man.Coach wrote:Had a few tough days where I was stuck in the yellow, but coming out of it, and experiencing a strong flow w/ a relatively clear output now.
I think they need to change the breath mint at the bottom of the men's urinal at work. It's getting pretty smelly in there.
