I was late on the Wet Leg train, but they got me good.
Ohana!
Hell yes!

Really digging the new Blondshell record. Really scratches a specific itch for me. Not sure there are a ton of folks here that would be too into it, but just in case I'm wrong:

I listened for a bit when it came out, it was alright. I should maybe go back.

i listened to the new miley cyrus album about 6 times now, including probably the last time in awhile today. it's just a mess: uneven, forced, and pretty inauthentic. it's like the label told her and her team of writers to make a concept album with edgy songs, including some that sound like lady gaga and madonna circa 1992-1998. the album is all over the place with a bunch of mismatched parts. there are about 2-3 good songs, and those are the ones that happen to sound like a legit miley cyrus song. but together -- yikes.

Interesting. I think it's the first Miley Cyrus album where the songwriting and production fully suits her. There's a lot of interesting stuff happening musically

I've listened to all her albums since Bangerz, and most of them I have really not enjoyed. Endless Summer Vacation was a step in the right direction (though I only like about half of it). This one is head and shoulders above anything she's done so far. I love the orchestration, and the soft focus of its production.

i havent listened to his albums, i might have listened to the last one? i do like her singles and her voice is a force, when she uses it properly. This album felt cohesive and interesting, and sounds awesome to me.
¨Something Beautiful¨ is a great song.

New Gizz record today, new songs from David Byrne and Japanese Breakfast a couple days ago. A good week for new music.
