I know nothing about coffee or where the good Canadian coffee is. These were one dollar cups of coffee from the little shop in the classroom building I was working in today. I put some soymilk and sugar in it. Probably did not need the sugar

I have them fill my 20 oz Yeti with the house blend. Two pumps of 2% milk (regular would be 4 or 5 pumps) and two sugars.

I go here because it's close to work and I like the staff. Their cortado and their atmosphere could be better, but there's something to be said about convenience and friendliness.

In the last couple years I switched from the Parkingway location to the Old Colony location. This was a big deal for me because I was fiercely loyal to Parkingway for over a decade.

One time my favorite barista from my regular spot was reading on the patio of another spot across town when I walked in. I was pretty ashamed of myself when she said hello.

Early on after I made the switch I got called out by one of the good Parkingway baristas who came in to the Old Colony store while I was waiting in line. It was awkward.

He walked in the place, first thing out of his mouth was "what the fuck, Pete!?"

What's the overall feel of the Parkingway neighborhood versus Old Colony?
