I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I can see that. And ultimately, that's probably why I come down on the side of S1. As great as S2 is (and it is wonderful) I missed some of the horror and the black comedy. I want it to feel more like the movie/Coens' canon.tragabigzanda wrote:Yeah, I agree S1 felt like a Coens' series, but in S2 Hawley really came into his owndurdencommatyler wrote:S1 definitely has the closest feel to the movie (and to the Coen's work in general). So far, S3 has also had a lot of that tone/quality to it. But I'm only 2 episodes in. It's hard to say one way or the other. But I like your breakdown, trag.

hmmm.. yeah... I guess I'm suspicious they will get enough quality true story out of this location .. researching... information coming in... hold please... hold please...tragabigzanda wrote:That scene when he goes to the garage:tree_ wrote:I really loved Angelina jolie's ex in season 1.. wow was he a good villain or what

Fucking loved that.
Well if they took it out of MN, what would be the point of that? I like that we're slowly seeing the lineages of these peoples' families and other connections, but that it's not delivered like some Lonesome Dove style epic drama.tree_ wrote:I watched first two seasons and loved it.. watched an episode of s 3 and stopped for some reason... I guess I'm confused why they choose to stick to this location? Why not expand the possibilities a little bit

Now that I've watched the whole thing, I'm curious what you meant by this. I honestly don't know.tragabigzanda wrote:i loved it, but then S3 did something similar and it fell flat for me
