I've noticed lately that things I used to find easily enough on TPB or what or KAT just aren't showing up anymore. Like, nothing's been updated in months for that particular search.

You guys just aren't on streaming yet?

I don't have the data plan for streaming. I have an iPod classic sitting in front of my right now that is practically full and I like being able to pick and choose albums at my leisure.

Also I'm one of those weird album-listeners, I can't do random at all.

That said I only use the torrent sites for esoteric stuff or something I give a trial listen to first. I do purchase a lot of stuff, sometimes physical but mostly digital.

We're not all fancy, Strat. Some of us are embracing old technology cause we're... old.

Some of us don't want lossy music streams.

I'm going to have to get used to Spotify's interface, which I have never, ever liked. Damn.

The saddest thing is what.cd was the only dependable source for literally thousands of out-of-print albums, compilations, cd singles etc., not to mention 'the' place for sharing vinyl rips and unknown artists' own music.

What was the source of most tracks from the Sleater-Kinney B-Sides & Rarities compilation I made, among others.

Hopefully the whack-a-mole principle will apply here :peace:
