Also, Goose Gossage is approaching the Clemens level of appearances in this tournament, isn't he?

Let's add Tom Henke at the back end of the bullpen.EJ wrote:

It is impressive. Not nearly as excited about the pitching staff. There are some serious juggernauts in this league that have both superstar pitching and hitting. Should be fun to see how this plays out.Lament wrote:Looking at all the lineups again...
It is disgusting how good the Pirates 1-7 in the batting order are.
You still have time to get Ron Kittle in your lineup.Lament wrote:I'm banking heavily on pitching reigning over hitting in this. Otherwise I'm pretty screwed.
I have decent hitters, but Thomas and Belle are really the only power in my starting lineup. Unfortunately nearly all the great power guys available to me play first (specifically Dick Allen and Paul Konerko). I can't justify adding Bill Melton in the place of Buck Weaver, or Magglio Ordonez at the expense of Minnie Minoso.EJ wrote:You still have time to get Ron Kittle in your lineup.Lament wrote:I'm banking heavily on pitching reigning over hitting in this. Or just rely on Comiskey Park scaring all the opposing teams.
