For real.

Also, Goose Gossage is approaching the Clemens level of appearances in this tournament, isn't he?

Let's add Tom Henke at the back end of the bullpen.

That image doesn't exactly scream "dominant shutdown reliever" to me.

Oh cool. I'll go back and add it the OP.

Alright, just the Cubs. And I know Ruddo's teams are done, he just hasn't posted them here yet (that I know of).

Looking at all the lineups again...

It is disgusting how good the Pirates 1-7 in the batting order are.

It is impressive. Not nearly as excited about the pitching staff. There are some serious juggernauts in this league that have both superstar pitching and hitting. Should be fun to see how this plays out.

I'm banking heavily on pitching reigning over hitting in this. Otherwise I'm pretty screwed.

You still have time to get Ron Kittle in your lineup.

Or just rely on Comiskey Park scaring all the opposing teams.

I have decent hitters, but Thomas and Belle are really the only power in my starting lineup. Unfortunately nearly all the great power guys available to me play first (specifically Dick Allen and Paul Konerko). I can't justify adding Bill Melton in the place of Buck Weaver, or Magglio Ordonez at the expense of Minnie Minoso.

But yeah, I'm hoping Comiskey being such a pitcher's park and having all of those dead ball era arms in my rotation will make for a formidable home team. Plus all of those dudes on my team who got banned for life hopefully have a chip on their shoulder.

i'd love to field a brewers team, but not sure i have the endurance to put together a bench or pitching staff. if only madtigerman was still here.

my lineup would look something like this:

3B - Paul Molitor 87
LF - Ryan Braun 11
SS - Robin Yount 82
DH - Prince Fielder 09
1B - Cecil Cooper 80
CF - Gorman Thomas 79
C - Ted Simmons 83
RF - Jeromy Burnitz 98
2B - Rickie Weeks 10

Do it spike. It's really easy and quick. Ill take on a third team to get us back to an even number if it gets you involved.

I am willing to let spike add a Brewers team if skitch (or someone else) will balance it off with an 18th.
