They aren't really an indie band though. Their last 2 albums have produced 4 pretty big hits and have sold pretty well. They're kinda someplace in between

I've been reading a couple of articles about hd digital music yesterday and of course Pono and with it Neil Young were mentioned. Some say he's a little detached from reality and is surrounded by people who's main occupation is to nod at him. Sometimes i get the feeling PJ is living surrounded by a similar cloud. Weather is their music, the 10C or other business decisions sometimes it seems they don't realise what the hell is going on or what certain things really look/sound/are like.
