Living Colour, cuz why not.

Time's Up
Stain
Vivid
The Chair in the Doorway
Colliedoscope

Time's up is so much better than the other 4. Each of them have many stuff that I like but it's a bit hit or miss.

The National is easily my favorite band of the last many years and I second this list. Sometimes Boxer is number one for me too. They are all great albums with the exception of the S/T, which I basically never listen to anyway. I can't wait for a new album.

I love Sad Songs. The National are just great enough to have even better albums.

I'm pleased to see another Living Colour fan on the board!

I adore Time's Up (and it is probably their masterwork) but I prefer Stain.

Oh I really love this band!
Stain is a great record that I haven't listened to in a long while. It's easily the record that has grown on me the most, I wasn't really fond of it on my first listens, especially after their first 2 (even if I consider it superior to Vivid now). But the tracks really revealed themselves after some listens.
Nothingness is fantastic.

I saw them open for Aerosmith in June. They can jam.

There are some really terrific songs on that record.

I was way into these guys in the late 80s and then kinda forgot about them.

Yeddie, where's your Do Make Say Think list? I'm curious how it compares to mine. Also, I must disagree with your Mogwai list having Hardcore at the bottom.

I was delaying as this is REALLY hard, but here we go...

Goodbye Enemy Airship the Landlord is Dead
Winter Hymn Country Hymn Secret Hymn
Other Truths
& Yet & Yet
You, You're a History in the Rust
Do Make Say Think

GEAtLD, WHCHSC, and OT are all kind of a toss-up.

&Y&Y used to be a favorite, but had to bump it down the line

I used to be "meh" w History in the Rust, but it has really improved over time.

Did you post yours above somewhere?

Yeah, I posted mine on page 11, but I'm gonna C&P it here for you:

Winter Hymn Country Hymn Secret Hymn
& Yet & Yet
Goodbye Enemy Airship the Landlord Is Dead
Other Truths
You, You're a History in Rust
Do Make Say Think

I listened to the s/t again yesterday and was thinking that maybe it should move up a spot. "History in Rust" is still pretty good, but I think it has the highest proportion of weak tracks in their catalog.
