Yeah

Looks like they have a handful of dates over the next couple of weeks. Nowhere remotely near me, tho.

I'm feeling Steely this afternoon. Which Dan song should go on the bar playlist for the day drinkers? It will play after a Jicks cover of Cina Cat Sunflower.

This may be the day I get into them.

Are you reeling in the years, Reid?

That's actually exactly the one I was going to go for. Self's recommendation on page 2 is what tipped me that way.

My Old School would be a good one.

What do you think now, LV?

I now think CBAT is their worst of their pre-reunion albums.

I can agree with that. But I do still think it’s a great album. Not every track shines, but a good album.

Oh yeah, it's still great. I just wish Fagen sang all of it.

Or they already had Royce Jones in the band.

The thing of it is, he STILL doesn’t sing those songs when they play them live.

I always knew Stone was the coolest fucker in the band.

I'd love to know what song it was. Or even hear it.
Dirty work.

It's not much. It's stone playing the riff (more the keyboard riff if I recall), MATT tinkering, Boom noodling, and Ed looking around asking who the song is by.

I’m not much of a fan of Palmer’s vocals, but I quite like Hodder on Midnite Cruiser.

He may not be terrible but we’ll never know. He’s never sung it live. The girl backup singers have sung it ever since the reunion.

I’m partial to Royce Jones singing it myself.
