Surely no one is lame enough to invent song titles to try and generate Pearl Jam news.
While a Western guitar motif lost on the swings drum bass fusion, get your own thoughts into the subconscious often forgotten. "Pendulum" is a sweeping soul from the ballast.

Good to see that texting is regarded as evidence in 2013.

Song titles are all fucking ridiculous until you attach yourself to what the song actually is.

Man, we are bored. Has this thing leaked yet?
Dime, all of those song titles are great.

In itself, I don't think 'Mind Your Manners' is a terrible title. It could conceivably be the title of a good song.

But I don't think it will be. The problem is what happens to my brain whenever I read this title: shitty, 3-minute punk pop a la Ramones (a genre which I wish PJ would realise they don't do well) inspired not by Whipping, or something else awesome, but by Supersonic, Ole and Big Wave, an aural trinity of ill-conceived garbage.

I'm into Big Wave for about the last 8 seconds, when it is ending. And I'm not being snarky, I just feel they started fading out the very instant the song became interesting.

Do bands still release singles a full month or more before albums? that seems crazy in this day and age, but I don't know the music industry that well.

Some do, some don't. Nobody really knows what they're supposed to do anymore. Everybody's just wingin' it.

there's really no right or wrong anymore. there are so many formulas on "how to do it" that most bands or labels are just aiming anywhere and shooting.

NIN is releasing their single seemingly months ahead of time, and Reznor seems pretty in on how to do things... so there's that.

I think I got something ...

I'm gonna take a wild guess. A crazy guess and say that "Mine Your Manners" is an Ed song off the new Ed solo album. The one he did with Glen Hansard.

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=202100 .. http://www.au.timeout.com/sydney/music/ ... en-hansard

Which only explains why they posted the track under Republic Records.

There is no Pearl Jam or Eddie Vedder listed over @ http://www.republicrecords.com/artists/#P

Though over @ https://www.facebook.com/RepublicRecordsOfficial/info + http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddie_Vedder … , Eddie Vedder is listed under Republic Records. Pearl Jam's record label is Monkey Wrench Records.

Ed solo works are distributed by Republic Records, a division of Universal Music Group, but Pearl Jam is distributed by Monkey Wrench Records. Distributed internationally by Universal Music Group.
