the new songs sounded awesome and Death Horizon was another highlight.
I was pleasantly surprised on how good Paz and David were, they were fucking amazing. The band was super tight really better than the two shows i saw from 2014 with her.
Guys, you all need to see this band right now

I'd be more surprised if you didn't love those albums, Mal. Gimme something spicy!

it's banal to say they're great, sure. but my sense of things have been dislocated enough to the extent that finding continuity between present and past music preferences is somehow seemingly revelatory. a sad bit of business, there's no denying.

Nah, you're fine. Cindy and Eyrie are just super underrated among long-time fans so I'm still on that recruitment drive.

"The Thing" is a B-side from the Velouria single. Great song, if a little short. But why a lyric video? Why now?
Meh, kinda neat, I guess.

VERY neat.
Some of these newer lyric videos are better than actual music videos.
Maybe a new B-Side comp from Pixies is coming up?

Also wasn't aware that she had gone political weirdo (anti-vax, Jan 6th sympathizer) in recent times. That also sucks.

And she's surprised to get the boot.

I know her a little bit. She has a house in Palm Springs and I shot some stuff there a few years back.
I recently chatted with her and she was super happy with the ultra right wing winning in Argentina; I thought it was weird at the time, and I figured she really didn’t got a lot of information about muy country’s politics.
Then she ranted about the US and what she wanted in 2024. Weird AF. I’m sure the band kicked her out.
