I could see an argument for Wishlist in the top 5, for sure. No Way is probably the weakest song on the album that's like a full song IMO

Re: What is Each Album's Major Flaw?: Yield
No Way is ok. I think I don't like it coming after Faithfull because both songs seem too long for what they actually do. They are both pretty repetitive whereas Pearl Jam at their best are really quite dynamic (Some of my favorite Pearl Jam songs are always building or changing - Daughter and Better Man are good examples). Whereas Faithfull and No Way are both pretty long (I thought 5+ minutes, turns out its only 4+ but still they are two of the longest songs on the album) and don't really change it up much beyond their few parts. They both have long stretches where you're just waiting for something new to happen but just get another chorus after a long stretch. I just think they bog down the album a bit coming at 2 and 3.
I might like it better if they were spaced out. The vibes of No Way are pretty good but I dunno. I just feel like it slows things down with Faithfull and both songs seem a bit unfinished, like they could use more work, lyrics, or something. I do like the initial vibe of the verses, it starts out well.
As for top 5 on Yield it's hard
Do the Evolution
Given to Fly
All those yesterdays
Low Light
Wishlist
Might be the top 5? In Hiding and Brain of J are in contention, only DTE and GTF have their spots solidified. I like MFC a lot though can't in good faith put it above any of those songs. Faithfull and No Way would probably be the weakest two, though MFC is a bit more inconsequential even though I like it more. (Im not counting PIlate and Push Me Pull Me though I quite like them to be fair)
It's interesting because I consider Yield the weakest of the first five albums and I don't love it as much as the other 4, yet individually there isn't really any songs I don't like. There are just also fewer that I LOVE (and as a whole it is less interesting than No Code).
Also, for what it's worth Faithfull and No Way DO have some of the best MOMENTS of the album (I love the quiet verses of Faithfull and the initial vibe of No Way). It's mostly the choruses that let them down and the length and repetitiveness of the songs.

The entire album is almost flawless.
Hard to pick 5 but:
Faithful
In Hiding
No Way
GTF
DTE
I would also say these 5 are top…maybe 30 of the catalogue.

Re: What is Each Album's Major Flaw?: Yield
I think the "there are two kinds of people" arguments are overly simplified, cliche, and stupid.
Having said that, there are two kinds of people: those that really like PJ's "non-traditional" songs and those that don't.
Trag and I have our differences, but one place in which we are in lock step is the importance, maybe even necessity/preference for PJ's "non-traditional" tracks.
