Still think next year it should be 8 previous winners vs quarter finalists 2017

Also, Abnorman just put Mecca, Jorge, and Asher to shame when it comes to RM archivist skills.

So let me get this straight... IMT got knocked out by Corduroy but still managed to come back and beat it with all the marbles on the line and yet somehow people still don't believe it belongs in the champs bracket?

It's looking like a Hail, Hail vs Immortality final, folks. So let's go to ABNorman in the studio for the rundown.
Immortality is a juggernaut. It won outright in 2004 and 2008, and has an impressive win-loss record: 36 - 7. Excluding years when voting was on TSIS (due to lack of accurate data), it has amassed 1539 votes over 9 tournaments - a tournament average of 171. This bumps up to 192 if excluding the 2004 tournament, which we don't have voting numbers for.
Hail, Hail is a bit more of a mixed bag. With a W/L ratio of 22 - 8, it's no slouch. It has amassed 990 votes over 8 tournaments (excluding 2004), a tournament average of 124.
Perhaps the most telling statistic though? These two have faced off FOUR times already, and each time Immortality has come out on top. HOWEVER, the gap has been closing: 20 - 7, 58 - 14, 50 - 40, 34 - 31.
Could this be Hail, Hail's year?
