Not really...it was weirder in 98.tragabigzanda wrote:But also weird, right? Like, do you ever get the sense that Rodman is to Ed as your old, insane college buddy is to you?VinylGuy wrote:The Dennis Rodman cameo was cool.
In '98 Rodman was wearing dresses, getting piercings, and coloring his hair. Today he's friends with an authoritarian dictator. Which is weirder?VinylGuy wrote:Not really...it was weirder in 98.tragabigzanda wrote:But also weird, right? The PPJE and EPJPJE are both subsets of the PRAMG. PRAMG lives on.CopperTom wrote:Those encores were torture for me. Way too many covers.
Such a solid main set too. Kinda disgusted.
Party Pearl Jam Era is over. This officially ushers in the Extreme Party Jukebox Pearl Jam Era.

An incredible exaggeration followed by a flat-out lie from Bi_3. It is funny, though, to think that people expect I might look like Karl. That's 2 RMers in a month. It's getting out of hand.Strat wrote:He's intimidating fellow. New acronyms. I like 'em! PPJE and EPJPJE.96583UP wrote:The PPJE and EPJPJE are both subsets of the PRAMG. PRAMG lives on.CopperTom wrote:Those encores were torture for me. Way too many covers.

I really enjoyed night 2. There were some missteps (Last Kiss, repeating Surender), but it was much better than night 1.
It's time for a new GA. It was way oversold. Nothing good happens there. My idea is this: Pull the first two or three rows only, like an orchestra pit. Make them lottery. You don't know if you're GA until you get your tickets. That's it. Fan clubbers like me who are middle-age can get good seats again and have a place to sit for a minute when our backs playing up. No one has to piss in a cup. There'd be no need to try to get closer within GA.
Finally, I hope PJ just goes away for 2 years. Let Soundgarden have 2017.
I like the acronyms too. EPJPJE would be nearly impossible to crack if you don't know what it is.Leatherhead wrote:New acronyms. I like 'em! Tough one. The original repeats PJPJ though.Kevin Davis wrote:I propose reordering the words: Extreme Pearl Jam Jukebox Party Era.
This way the initials make a nice palindrome. EPJJPE.

Why don't we just use this:theplatypus wrote:Let's just simplify.
Party Jukebox Pearl Jam
PJPJ.
