Losing to the Broncos, even when it's just pretend, always hurts. But I'll take some small comfort in Joe Montana throwing circles around Peyton Manning. Even if it's just pretend.

I was worried I was gonna be on the receiving end of another 11 yard per carry performance from Walter Payton. After the Bears beat down the Cowboys in Dallas and the Packers barely snuck by them in Green Bay, I wondered if there was a bigger gap between the three teams than I expected. These last seven games should be intense. Someone isn't gonna be in the NFC Title game...but who?


Either way, I'm glad I didn't pull Rodgers for Favre like I considered after the loss to Buffalo. On to Detroit...
