Tried listening to Avocado on spotify now, and also matched up to my previously stored songs on my phone. Couldn’t hear any difference.

So I've been trying to rip the 'Mastered for Spotify' version of Avocado using the desktop version (with a premium trial subscription for 320kbps) and had all sorts of problems due to the way Spotify caches tracks onto your computer (and possibly against your profile for other devices it seems?) for listening later. Live versions mixed in with louder (old mastering?) and quieter (new I assume?) versions of the album versions - I've wasted a lot of time clearing caches, uninstalling Spotify, reinstalling, using a different account - it's a freaking nightmate

Anyway, I think I've managed to get the 'new' master playing from start to finish now, however Come Back doesn't seem to have the alternate lyrics reported a few pages back:

The songs are definitely updated, there's even a lyric change on Come Back. "From where ever you are, come back" is now "From the skies up above, come back"

Can anyone confirm that there is in fact an alternate lyric in the new version? Or is this perhaps being confused with a live version? Lecherouslittlestump? Spenno? Bueller?

If anyone else is confident they have the new version playing on their desktop app and wants to have a go at ripping to wav, please feel free to try and report back your results (I'm using Replay Media Catcher).

i do not hear a lyric change in "come back." i haven't listened to these albums in a long time, especially through spotify, but i am able to capture them with Replay Music 5 alongside a Spotify premium account. i will send you a PM when i finish recording.
