I'm not encouraged by this news. He made the film we needed and Star Wars needed to relaunch.
He's never finished anything off in his his entire career. That's a kind version of some of the stuff said about him.

I know but I wanted them to be a bit brave here.
It could well be TLJ is just way too weird and style wise JJ makes all the sense in the world to bring it back to center for the finale? Guess we won't know til we see. Just had a little wish list and bummed they went with the safest option of all.

He wouldn't have been my first choice, but I loved TFA and he got great performances from the cast. I have no issues with this selection
