I really like that Billie Eilish song. It will be a shame if it loses out to "I'm Just Ken," which really isn't good

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

No Charles Melton was a big-time snub.

Many Academy members are imbeciles who only watch 5-10 movies a year, the ones the studios tell them to watch
It's how we get such boring ballots every single year

I dont like it all, feels kinda lazy to me. But yeah, its way better than the ken song. SNL had better songs.

Rank the outrage!
1. No Greta Gerwig Director nom
2. Maestro gets a Best Picture nom (this is fucking idiotic)
3. No Margot Robbie Actress nom
4. No Charles Melton Supporting nom
5. No Saltburn love (really deserves cinematography and screenplay, but there are others, too)
6. No Barbie Cinematography nod
7. Mark Ruffalo getting a Supporting nod (fucking hilariously stupid)
8. No Actor nod for Andrew Scott
9. No Best Picture nod for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
10. No Greta Lee Actress nod

While the photo and some framing was alright im mostly very happy with Saltburn being completely unnoticed. Feels like some kind of universal truth.
Besides the photography of Killers, Maestro or Oppenheimer are the real stuff anyway.

I would've liked to have seen Ferrari nominated for something, even just like sound or something. I think it's too much to ask the Academy to nominate the same performances that resonated with me (all four leads in All of Us Strangers and all three leads in May December come to mind), but I do think a Zac Efron nomination for Iron Claw would have been cool. It's a really great movie and a great performance, but also not so far out of the bounds of what the Oscars go for so I'm a little surprised it got nothing.
Oh well.
I'll put out my own personal Golden Jorges in a few days. Much more relevant and important than the Oscars

If Twitter Ads served to me are anything to go by, #3 and #4 are winning something.
I've seen these ads incessantly for months, this can't be a good use of their marketing budget.

I can’t wait for Ferrari. Opens here in two weeks.
