I'm not sure about that one. What would the unnecessary mustard sound like?

I envision, Trag, once he finally mustered out that last compliment, pausing to wipe his brow of a thick cold sweat, then suddenly pale, lurches over to vomit in a office depot trash can

staring at the pool of semi digested tonkotsu ramen, he thinks up a new self, for himself
so this is what it's like to be an optimist

fr tho Matt Cameron brings the juice on this one, and Stone and Mike sound like they came up to meet his level in the studio
I just hope that translates live
they gotta bring in da noise, and da funk
no mousey shit looking around at each other while Matt rips face
gotta bring it

I've backed way off of this one over the past week, trying to help it stay reasonably fresh come 4/19. Had a really good listen to it this morning, probably the second time it clocked in around a 3.75 for me.

I hated the stop initially but I’m now loving the immediate stop on this song.
Pearl jam songs by Pearl jam. They never know how to end em. It just wanders off.
This is clear and quick. Done.
Do wish they’dve let Mike tear it up for even 20 or 30 seconds more. It’s too efficient and cold as ends go.
But if it leaves you wanting more, it’s doing something good.
The right stuff. The good stuff.

are you using ChatGPT at this point for these

When I first played DM on Spotify Animal came on straight after it and I felt the combination worked really well.
Mind you, I am always super pumped to hear Animal regardless, so it could come on after literally any song and I'd think that was just awesome.
I think the thing is that I just love Animal so damn much.

I remember one day I was listening to the radio in my car and the DJ went "Hey, why don't we compare the two grands from the almost forgotten era of the 90s, that our younger audiences may not be too familiar with: Nirvana and Pearl Jam! I'm gonna play a song by each band and then we'll let the listeners decide who they think should take the crown! How's that sound, great? OK, let's go" -- and he proceeds to play SLTS and... Rockin' In The Free World! Rockin' In The Free World, FFS!
Boy, was I pissed.
In fact I was so pissed I called in to the station and asked that idiot why couldn't he at least put Animal on as an accurate representation of the powerhouse that PJ used to be back then! "You don't even know who's song you played, moron!"
Argh!..

Asked a producer friend I speak to on occasion if he had any comments about DM and this is approximately how the conversation went:
Me: Curious if you have any opinions on the new PJ
Him: I listened twice and I don’t have much of an opinion. Ha
Him: I’ve been listening to the new Real Estate LP “Daniel”
Me: More interested in hearing about any fascinating details. Andrew Watt did the album.
Him: I can give you details on the new Khraungbin single
A. Our 30 year friendship has reached its natural conclusion
B. I now need newer, better friends
