I dig Of The Earth. Part of the appeal to me is that it's a song that's unreleased and seemingly being worked on in a live setting. I feel like it's a song that, if done correctly, could really benefit in the studio. Lots of potential for spacey, Pink Floyd-ish experiments I think.

it was a shock hearing this in pensacola last year. i don't think a studio version would do it any favors. in a way, i think it's sort of like you are. the song on riot act is fine, but pretty forgettable. i think i saw it live 3 or 4 times. it always seemed slightly different and in working progress.

Dont pay attention to those...you seem to very able to discuss this bands music in a lot of ways and levels, so it would be nice too see more of those around here.

I actually like and agree with Stip in a lot of cases. Except my loathing of JB and belief that Wishlist is not the love song it appears.

But I concur that no matter why is released there will be the usual clashes.

All joking aside, Stip and I tend to agree a lot, actually. I like Backspacer a whole shit ton more than most people around here. And I think No Code is flawed.

Does Stip even like Just Breathe? I thought he disliked it.... either way, I goddamn love that song, cheesy obvious platitudes and all.
