Cozying up to Liz Cheney in the last few days was one of the most bizarre missteps I've ever seen. Did they actually believe she represented some hidden voter base, and one that would make up for her turning off a lot of the left? Did they believe their own bullshit here?

You know what would be hilarious? Trump should make his first official act of his new term pardoning Hunter Biden.

I definitely feel like I'm doing something wrong by voting for the same person as Dick Cheney

Wasn't the point that they strongly disagree on many things but one thing they can agree on is Trump would be a danger to our democracy and should never be elected? I thought it was effective.

I already knew Trump was a danger to our democracy, but I thought it would be effective to old republican types, is what I meant. Stop acting like you know me!

If the CIA, known throughout history for destabilizing and destroying democracies, suddenly came to me and said someone was a danger to democracy, my inclination is to go the other way.

I get why you wouldn’t trust the CIA, but what if it was a President who called people and asked them to fix his election loss? Should we worry about that guy?

I remember it being both of them, but maybe my intense hatred for Dick Cheney put me into a fugue state at the mere mention of his last name.
