Me: More interested in hearing about any fascinating details. Andrew Watt did the album.
Him: I can give you details on the new Khraungbin single
A. Our 30 year friendship has reached its natural conclusion
B. I now need newer, better friends
C. give me his number so we can talk about Real Estate.

Today I will say nothing about this song.
Can you talk shit about the production of a random selection of songs instead?

Khruangbin rules. Homie has moved on to newer, better bands.

*bands in their prime
I like em but they're not better than PJ when PJ were great; no one is

Agreed...Great band...not PJ...
No shame in admitting that I'm now happily on the other side of the generational chasm
I like many newer bands, but, none of them are ever going to fill those foundational slots in my life.

Where's Veggie? New band-we-compare-PJ-to just dropped.
I really thought it would be The Ting Tings.

"New band"
Showing your age there a little, too
Anything within fifteen years is considered "new" in this apartment.

Nothing to do with the age of the band.
Let's get you back to bed though, gramps.

I heard Breath today for the first time in a long while.
Dayummmmmmm
They had this air of tragedy and pathos in their prime, leaving you with an unsettling feeling inside.
Oh well, I guess it’s unrealistic to expect a similar level of emotional investment from them at this age. Still I wonder if Dark Matter will try to reach those depths of only just a bit. One can dream, eh

Khruangbin definitely rules its own particular roost. I need to listen to B-Side now…

I do enjoy an afternoon nap every now and again after my Ensure lunch
Calling a band "new" doesn't have anything to do with the age of a band?
I guess every band is new if you're hearing them for the first time!
