Everythings fine. Look at this completely natural and not at all awkward photo. Can't you feel the love?

That's the only reason to ever do anything

To me, right now, and I appreciate that I am certainly at least somewhat affected by new album fever, the run of 5 songs Lightning Bolt --> Infallible --> Pendulum --> Swallowed Whole --> Let the Records Play is as enjoyable a 5 PJ-track stretch as I've come across.

So, the town hall on sirius is supposedly happening right now? Anyone?

Tracks 1-7 are absolutely fantastic and a really goddamn solid run. That hasn't happened in a few records...

Ed is a dumb but intense jock. Stone is geeky, intelligent, serious and relatively sophisticated. Even without the history, they must be like chalk and cheese. I can imagine Stone recoiling if someone with Ed's personality just gave him a big ol' bear hug like that.

It's a good theory, you should keep doing that.

If nothing else, this record and everything surrounding it has given us enough fuel to keep a lot of our speculative band mythologies (and Red Mosquito itself) alive for a few more years.

It's one track man, not the end of the world. Just embrace it.

I don´t know why but yesterday while I was smoking with my girlfriend I had an epiphany. I was overwhelmed by this (at the moment I thought it was brilliant): Pearl Jam has two records in their hands, the more pop elegantly oriented Lightning Bolt (studio) and the raw Lightning Bolt (live). We already know that Infallible is going to sound really different when they play it live, the same case with the title track and the extended solo, who knows who other song will be like this? I guess Mike was the one who said that Lightning Bolt is a record that is meant to be played live. So, I´m looking forward to the boots.

They say that about every record though. That its meant to be played live They take too much of that into consideration when recording and playing songs.

Yep. And, I hate when they mention that in the interviews.
