Second goal. His performance last night still seems so surreal. Seeing good things happen to the Leafs is still new to me. After #4, I got a text from a friend that said "This is a video game."
Nice work on that goal. With Connor off to a flying start as well, should be a really fun year for watching young talent.

So, five games into the season, the Leafs have had a lead heading into the third period five times. And they're 1-1-3.

I guess this is what people are referring to when they talk about "growing pains".

Impressive performance by Calgary to win in Chicago and St. Louis on consecutive nights. Elliott was amazing in net both games. Good to see him turn it around after struggling in his first few starts, although the defense wasn't doing him any favors.

Six games into his first season in the NHL, Auston Matthews leads the league in goals and points. His linemate, fellow rookie William Nylander, is one point behind him.

And the team is 1-2-3. Because Toronto.

putting michalek on waivers seems insane to me, but apparently you guys do shit like that all the time.

Watched the Leafs Panthers game last night...very jealous of you Phil, they might not be great yet, but goddamn your team is fun to watch right now

I was hoping he would produce enough to be flipped at the deadline with retention. He's just not good anymore, though.

That was a great game. It was probably Matthews and Nylander's worst, but Marner just took over.

If Andersen keeps playing like that, they might even do some damage.

That's a hell of a way to get your first regulation loss there, Habs.

haha I definitely did some research to make sure I wasn't seeing a misprint.
